Do I need insurance to rent a car from Car renters club?

The renter must provide proof of an active insurance policy in the primary renter’s name.  The policy must provide collision, comprehensive, and liability coverage that transfers to your rental.  Most insurance companies allow the transfer of your full-coverage policy to a rental vehicle for up to thirty days, within the United States.

Does car renters club Require a Security Deposit?

We require a security deposit. The amount is specific to each vehicle and can start from $1,000 and up, depending on the vehicle chosen. Security deposit retainers will be returned after the rental period, and is subject to a review of any damages and or fees incurred during the rental period. If any damages are found once the vehicle has been returned, we will provide you with an onsite inspection and evaluation, and deduct any damages from the deposit.

What types of payment does Car Renters Club Accept?

We accept all major cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept mobile payments from Cash App, Zelle and Apple Pay (Merchant fees may apply).

How old do I have to be to rent a car from Car Renters Club?

You must be at least 21 years of age to rent our vehicles. You must not have any severe moving violations and/or DUI cases on your record. If so, there is a possibility that your rental agreement and/or reservation will be denied. If you are under the age of 21, you may inquire with us for more information.

Can I add another driver?

Yes, you can add up to one (1) additional driver to your rental agreement. The same rules and regulations apply for additional drivers such as age (21 years old), full coverage insurance and a clean driving record.

Can I cancel my reservation?

 All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee. Please inquire for details.

CAN I RETURN THE CAR EARLY?

Yes, however please note we charge the full amount of the rental period in advance or on the day of the rental. Once a vehicle is reserved, we are restricted from offering the vehicle for rent during the days of your rental period.

HOW MANY MILES DO I GET WITH MY RENTAL?

You receive 100 to 150 miles per day depending on the vehicle. If you surpass those miles, you will be charged an additional per-mile fee, per day for overages. These fees are applied when the vehicle is returned and is automatically deducted from the security deposit at the end of the rental period, or invoiced to the guest.

DOES CAR RENTERS CLUB OFFER MILES PACKAGES?

We offer a discounted miles package if you prepay for miles before the start of your rental period. Please inquire for details.

CAN I GET A CAR FOR A 1-DAY RENTAL ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY?

We have a 2-day minimum on weekends. Friday is considered a weekend due to the demand. However, we can offer a non-guaranteed 1-day rental on weekends, depending on availability.

CAN I GO ANYWHERE WITH MY CAR RENTERS CLUB RENTAL?

You are not allowed to leave the state of Florida or travel beyond 100 miles from our office, unless consent is given from the owner. Below are some scenarios that are not allowed by Car Renters Club:

  • for any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activity
  • to exceed any posted speed limits
  • in any racetrack or road course
  • by anyone not licensed to drive or anyone whose Driver’s license has been suspended or restricted, or to carry persons or property for hire
  • to push or tow anything
  • to teach anyone to drive
  • on any unpaved surface
  • no standing or sitting on vehicle at any time

DOES CAR RENTERS CLUB DELIVER THEIR CARS?

At Car Renters Club, we pride ourselves in providing an exceptional experience to our guests that rent our exotic and luxury vehicles. We offer airport escorts during regular business hours to Miami International Airport, Opalocka Private Airport, Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood
International Airport, Ft. Lauderdale Private Airport and surrounding areas such as Miami Beach, Wynwood, Downtown Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. For deliveries outside the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale areas, please contact us. The fee will depend upon the distance and will include a flatbed curbside/front door delivery option. You can always choose to pick-up and drop-off our vehicle at our office location for no-charge.

AT WHAT TIME WILL YOU DELIVER / PICK UP MY RENTAL?

We provide many options to accommodate your ever-changing schedule and those last-minute trips. You can pick-up and return your rental, for no cost at our office location. We also offer door-to-door delivery and pick-up services starting from $150 and up, depending on the hour, location and distance. Please inquire for details.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY CAR DELIVERED?

We advise our guests to allow us a one to two-hour timeframe to make deliveries, subject to normal driving conditions, location and weather permitting.

RENTAL POLICIES AND INCIDENTAL CHARGES

FUEL:

If the vehicle is returned with less gas than it was given, there will be a refueling charge, which is automatically deducted from the security deposit at the end of the rental period, or invoiced to the renter.

TOLLS:

A Sunpass transponder is provided in each vehicle for your convenience. Toll charges are automatically deducted from the security deposit at the end of the rental period, or invoiced to the renter.

CLEANING POLICY:

A car wash charge (interior and/or exterior) is automatically deducted from the security deposit at the end of the rental period or invoiced to the renter, depending on how the car is returned.

SMOKING POLICY:

If we detect a smoking odor or evidence of smoking in our vehicles, an additional OZONE fee will be assessed and is automatically deducted from the security deposit at the end of the rental period, or invoiced to the renter.

DRIVING TICKETS / PARKING TICKETS / RED-LIGHT CAMERA TICKETS

All drivers are fully responsible for their own citations, red-light camera tickets, or parking tickets during the rental period. Fines are automatically deducted from the security deposit at the end of the rental period, or invoiced to the renter.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE:

All vehicles are equipped with Roadside Assistance. Please contact us at your soonest convenience, and we will assist you right away.

TOWED VEHICLE POLICY:

All drivers are responsible for towing expenses during the rental period, except for mechanical failure. A FLATBED TOWING DEVICE is required. Any towing charges and/or damages incurred as a result of the towing is collected immediately in order to release the vehicle.
